Well, We’ve been announced for the brilliant 2000 Trees Festival, which will make this our fifth set in four years at what has become one of the highlights of the summer for us. We play the Cave stage on Saturday, immediatly before our brothers And So I Watch You From Afar – a position we’re very happy to fill.
This years Inaugural Handmade Festival, which is in part curated by John, happens on the 24th – 26th May. We play the 24th alongside the brilliant Rolo Tomassi and Arcane Roots and our best friends in the world Codex Leicester, Speaking in Italics and Surrender The Coast. We’ve been announced to play alongside Amplifier, Anathema, Iliketrains and The Pineapple Thief in Sheffield City Hall Ballroom as part of this years Tramlines Festival in Sheffield. Get Down.
Maybeshewill are excited to announce the release of their first live film ‘Maybeshewill: Live at The Y Theatre’ on April 22nd 2013 – one song from which you can preview above.
The film is a document of the final show of their ‘I Was Here for a Moment Then I Was Gone’ album tour, which culminated in this special home town shows after 18 months on the road. The event was filmed and multi-tracked at Leicester’s Y Theatre by long time collaborators WeTheConspirators and friends on December 22nd last year.
The film will be released as a digital download FROM THE STORE
The full length show features recordings of songs from all three albums, with a focus on the tracks from their aforementioned third album, which was released in 2011 on Function Records.
